I created this series based on symbols woven in Moroccan Berber rugs.  They tell stories and I found them to be so interesting that I was compelled to design a series of earrings based on some of the symbols.   This pair reflects the ladder and straight line symbol. These shapes represents the male symbol used in Berber rugs. This pair is completely handmade from sterling silver and Miyuki seed beads.   They are slightly over 2 3/4 inches long, excluding the post, and approximately 1 1/8 inches wide. They are slightly heavier as they have more metal, but they are still fairly light, have plenty of movement, and are fun to wear!
