I created this series based on symbols woven in Moroccan Berber rugs.  They tell stories and I found them to be so interesting that I was compelled to design a series of earrings based on some of the symbols.   This pair reflects the snake shape.   It represents a holy person in Berber rugs. This pair is completely handmade from sterling silver, Miyuki seed beads, and hand fabricated snake shapes surrounding a turquoise stone..   They are slightly over 2 3/4 inches long, excluding the post, and approximately 1 inches wide. They are slightly heavier as they have more metal, but they are still fairly light, have plenty of movement, and are fun to wear!
