A Little Bit About Me

I have been a creative all my life. My Mother recognized my artistic abilities as a child and enrolled me in art classes at a very young age. I will be forever be grateful for that.
I made my first career in the financial industry, mortgages to be specific. This "fed" my analytical side, but not my creative passion. I began taking metal smithing classes in order to keep "sane". I always knew that deep down, my real calling was to be an artist. Being able to make wearable art just seemed a reasonable way to take my art with me. I retired from the mortgage business to pursue my passion, and L George Studio was born.
I am a morning person, coffee lover and truly love living rural!
